Aangezien de installatie voor alle portals gelijk is wordt EasyAds gebruikt i.p.v. de specifieke portal namen. Deze app is beschikbaar voor EasyAds, Marktfeed en Bolfeed

Connect Magento 2​

Make sure the path app/code/Community exists in your Magento 2 installation. Extract the EasyAds plugin folder there. For older versions you can enable the plugin using the UI:

  • System -> Web Setup Wizard
  • Module Manager
  • Find Community/EasyAds in the list and choose the "enable" action.

Starting with Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source 2.4.0, the Web Setup Wizard is removed, and you must use the command line to install or upgrade your instance, as well as modules and extensions.

For newer versions enable the plugin using the following commands (make sure to run them as a user who is part of the www-data group or whatever group apache runs as)

  • php bin/magento module:enable Community_EasyAds
    To enable the plugin
  • php bin/magento setup:upgrade
    To update the database and clear compiled code
  • php bin/magento cache:clean
    To clear the cache

Go back to the admin backend.

Go to Stores -> Configuration -> Advanced -> Admin -> Security and set Add Secret Key to URLs to No.
You can reenable this setting after linking your account.
An item should be added to System -> EasyAds.
Click connect.
This is the EasyAds page. You can use the connect url to link Magento 2 with EasyAds.
Follow the steps on EasyAds to complete the linking.

Magento 1 webshop koppelen​

  1. Ga naar 'Imports' in je EasyAds account en klik op 'Koppelen' in het Magento blokje
  2. Klik op 'Download package' in de pop-up
  3. Ga in je Magento Admin panel naar 'Systeem - Magento Connect Manager' en installeer de gedownloade package door deze te uploaden bij 'Bestand kiezen' en vervolgens op 'Upload' te klikken
  4. Ga terug in je Admin panel naar 'Systeem - Configuration' en klik op 'Koppeling instellingen' onder 'EasyAds'
  5. Klik op 'Verbinding verbroken. Klik om verbinding te maken.'
  6. Klik op 'Koppelen en nieuw account registreren' wanneer je nog geen account bij EasyAds hebt, 'Inloggen met bestaand EasyAds account' als je wel een account hebt en klik op 'Koppelen'.
  7. Je shop wordt nu gekoppeld aan je nieuwe of bestaande account. Wij gaan aan de slag met de instellingen en nemen contact met je op.

How do variants work?​

Apparently there are 2 ways to configure variants in Magento 1:

  1. A 'Configurable Product' can have 'Associated Products'.
    These products use one or more options of attributes. Every combination can be a separate product in the store. By assigning such a variant as a 'Associated Product' you can give a price variation. The default price that will be used is the price of the 'Configurable Product', not the price of the related 'Associated Product'. Usually the 'Associated Product' will have 'Not Visible Individually' as visibility so it cannot be sold separately. So you could even set the price of such an associated product to 0 euro's since that price will then not be used. The SKU is different for every variant because every variant is an actual separate product.

  2. A 'Simple Product' can have 'Custom Options'.
    Every possible combination is a variation of the product you could buy. These 'variants' don't have a separate URL of SKU. These options are more like an optional add-on for the product. Since they don't have separate images, SKUs etc. we don't import and advertise these options.

Troubleshooting​

In Magento 2 is er een security setting die salt toevoegt aan interne admin urls. Er zit een bug in Magento 2 die de connect actie voorkomt (IssueTracker). Om dit op te lossen moet deze setting tijdelijk uitgeschakeld worden. In elk geval totdat de shop succesvol gekoppeld is met ons systeem.
